As global warming continues to be the number
one issue preoccupying decision makers and the public alike, Vegetarian
Action continues our campaign to raise awareness of the critical
link between animals raised for food and greenhouse gas emissions.
Our two new flyers "Cool the Cook" and
"Well Done", feature appealing, witty and pertinent
original graphics by our resident cartoonist, Ocram. The reverse
side of both flyers is identical, with factual information similar
to that used for our "Great Green
Quiz" campaign and the message: "Go vego...
for coolness' sake".
The flyers have been distributed at Adelaide's inaugural
Green City Festival
in February 2008 and will continue to be distributed via letterboxing
and windscreening.
