Adelaide's inaugural 'Green City Festival' was held at Elder Park on Sunday 17 February, 2008.
The Festival aimed "to demonstrate sustainable living principles and practice and to showcase Adelaide as a leader in Green City Living".

Located in the Food Pledge tent, Vegetarian Action's display featured campaign materials, flyers and posters based around our main theme for the event: "GO VEGO - FOR COOLNESS' SAKE" - a message underlined by the searing heat of the 39 degree day!

This was backed up by resource materials as well as practical information such as vegan cookbooks and the Vego Eat Out Guide (for those less confident in the kitchen).
